Pressure Wash
First things first, we use our high-powered 4400psi pressure washer, equipped with a surface cleaner attachment, to blast off all dirt and grime on the surface of your driveway. Then, once all that gunk is detached from the surface, we go over it again with a 40-degree nozzle tip to ensure that any debris is removed and put elsewhere.
Crack Filling
Also, before sealing, if requested, we can fill all cracks in your driveway with a crack filler mix that blends right in with traditional driveway concrete. This is recommended to prevent water from seeping into the base, which can weaken the concrete and lead to further cracking and sinking.
Applying Sealant
Lastly, we polish it off with a glossy layer of sealant. More than just for aesthetics though, sealing is crucial to ensure that your aggregate stays in place throughout the years, withstanding weathering and other general wear and tear. We use an 18-inch roller brush with a thick nap to ensure that the surface is heavily coated. Then, later, we go back to any of the edges or crevices we might've missed with a smaller handheld brush and make sure it's all evenly coated before wrapping up.
